Sending money
Send Money to Syria
Light Exchange partners with money transfer operators abroad so families and businesses can send funds to beneficiaries inside Syria.
How sending works
Senders abroad use one of our partner operators or agents, who forward the transfer to Light Exchange for payout in Syria. The sender shares the reference with the beneficiary, who collects at a branch with valid identification.
Why customers choose Light Exchange
Established in May 2007, Light Exchange combines long operating experience with a nationwide branch network of approximately 270 branches and service points, a team of around 1,750 employees and international agent relationships across the Gulf, Europe, North America and Australia. Service is built around clear information, trained staff and dependable processing.
Compliance and customer protection
Transactions are subject to identification requirements, anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing controls, and the rules that apply to the corridor being used. Valid identification is required and additional information may be requested for larger amounts.
